Last Saturday, numerous schoolchildren, parents and teachers visited Weiss Technik in Reiskirchen-Lindenstruth to find out more about the company's wide range of training opportunities. What apprenticeships are available at Weiss Technik and how do I apply correctly? Answers to these and many other questions were provided on Saturday by trainees, trainers and personnel officers at the annual training day at Weiss Technik. Around 370 schoolchildren took the opportunity to gain an insight into the wide range of training occupations offered by the specialist for air conditioning technology and environmental simulation. The trainees showed techniques learned in the various training occupations, guided the visitors through the company and the training centre and showed how a refrigeration cycle works. A highlight were the "experiments with a kick", which were demonstrated on a climatic test chamber.
Employees from the human resources department answered all the questions potential junior staff had about training at Weiss Technik and gave tips for a good application. In Hessenmetall's M+E Truck, visitors were able to find out about other training occupations in the metal and electrical industries.
"Today there is a very wide range of apprenticeships on offer - it can be difficult to make the right choice. We want to inform young people specifically about our apprenticeships, answer their questions and help them decide on their dream job. We offer our trainees many advantages - from good support to high chances of employment and further development opportunities," explains personnel developer Susanne Zessin.
